The Deputy Director II of the Directorate of Internal Audit, Mr. Kehinde Ajayi, has been appointed as the Acting Director of the Directorate, following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde. His appointment takes effect today, July 30, 2025, and remains until further notice.
In the appointment letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, Mr. Ajayi was urged to leverage his wealth of experience and leadership acumen to strengthen the University’s internal control and governance mechanisms.
The letter emphasised that his elevation reflects the University’s confidence in his competence, integrity, and commitment to transparency and accountability.
