Published On:

October 1, 2024

The Nimbe Adedipe Library (NAL) has introduced a Work-Study Programme that offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the Library’s Bindery section during the holiday break. The initiative, supported by the University Management, not only provided entrepreneurial training but also enabled participants to earn a stipend.

Miss Deborah Odebunmi, one of the beneficiaries, shared her excitement about the programme, noting that it has inspired her to pursue her own printing and bindery business after graduation.

The University Librarian, Prof. Abayomi Owolabi commended the initiative, emphasising the value of equipping students with hands-on skills that complement their academic learning. He also expressed his appreciation to the University Management for backing the programme, which enhances students’ career readiness through practical work experience.
