The Nimbe Adedipe Library (NAL), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), recently received some of its staff members who are currently serving as University Librarians in various institutions across Nigeria, as they paid a courtesy visit to the University Librarian, Prof. Abayomi Owolabi.
The delegation, led by Prof. Olatunji Ajegbomogun of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Arakeji, visited to commend the ongoing innovations and developmental strides being recorded within the Nimbe Adedipe Library.
Prof. Owolabi conducted the team on a tour of the Library facilities and shared recent improvements, including the establishment of a new Bindery Unit, repainting and general facelift of the Library interior, refurbishment of the Library Bus, and repairs of faulty Air Conditioners across all sections of the Library.
The visiting Librarians expressed satisfaction with the impressive developments and lauded the University Management for its continued commitment to enhancing library services.
Other members of the visiting team included Dr. Idayat Agboola, University Librarian, Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA); Dr. Abosede Ajiboye, University Librarian, Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo; and Dr. Bose Akintola, University Librarian, Kings University, Ode-Omu.
The visit reaffirmed the enduring professional bond among the staff members of Nimbe Adedipe Library and their shared dedication to the advancement of Library and information services in Nigeria.
