It was a time to praise and give all the glory to God as the staffers of the Department of Works and Services, came together to celebrate a successful transition into the New Year.

Delivering his word of exhortation tagged, “Living a Purposeful Life in UNAAB”, the Administrator, Prof. Samuel Adejuyigbe, encouraged staffers of the Department to put in their best in whatever they do, noting that doing so, always come with a blessing of its own, as God, will always reward the diligent.

Earlier in her welcome address, the Deputy Director, Engr. (Mrs.) Omolola Banjo, charged members of staff to strive for the best, stating that the commendation for productive staff was extended to all units of the Department.

The Deputy Director assured that efforts would be made to recommend deserving members of staff to the University’s authorities, in line with the new guideline on commendation.

The award winners were Messrs. E.O Odewale, Civil Engineering Unit; B. Soyinka, Mechanical Unit; J.A Olafimihan, Mechanical Unit; A.O Ogundeyi, Administrative Unit and O. Odeyemi of the Driver/Mechanic Unit.
