The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun has approved the constitution of a Committee on Determination of Criteria for Performance, Research Productivity and Nomination of Awardees for the Academic and Non-Teaching Staff (CODOCPREPANAAS) in 2011.
A release issued by the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Olufemi Bamgbose requested that interested members of the University community should nominate Awardees for the best deserving Academic staff for the Research Productivity Award and the best deserving Non-Teaching staff Performance Award categories.
The release further noted that two nominees are to be selected for each category.
In the Academic category, one is to be nominated in the senior category (Senior Lecturer and above) and one in the Junior category (Lecturer I and II) while for the Non-Teaching staff category, one is to be nominated in the Senior Non-Teaching staff category (CONTISS 6 and above) and one in the Junior Non-Teaching staff category (CONTISS 5 and below).
Nominations and Curriculum vitae of nominees which must conform with the University’s recognized format are to be forwarded to the Secretary of the Committee at the Academic Planning Unit on or before 12 noon on Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
