Njoku is a certified Educationist with Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE, 1998) obtained in the Department of Agricultural Education of Federal College of Education, Abeokuta. He holds a Bachelor degree in Animal Science (University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, 2006), Master’s and Ph.D degrees in Animal Production and Health in 2010 and 2012 respectively with option in Non-Ruminant Animal Production from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria
He is currently a Lecturer and Swine Scientist in the Department of Animal Production and Health, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He is involved in teaching and mentoring students in Animal Science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Faculty member of board of studies of College of Animal Science and Livestock Production and College of Environmental Resources Management
His main research interests are investigating novel feeding resource and manipulation of animal environments as a management tool to bring about improvement in production indices and reduction in production cost, leading to better profit margin to the rural livestock farmers, especially those in swine and rabbit sectors. Njoku has many publications in local and foreign journals to his credit and has attended several trainings, workshops and conferences in Animal Science.
He is a member of many professional and societal bodies among them are the Nigerian Society for Animal Production and Nigerian Institute of Animal Science.
