Matriculating students for the 2016/2017 Academic Session, are being notified that the Matriculation Ceremony would be held at the FUNAAB Ceremonial Building, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Matriculating students are to wear their academic gowns, which are obtainable from their various Colleges, with effect from Monday, April 24, 2017 on presentation of receipt for the payment of necessary fees. They are to return the gowns, not later than Tuesday, May 2, 2017 by 3pm. Failure to return the gowns at the stipulated time would attract a fine of N100 per day, while any loss of gown attracts a replacement fee of N10,000 only, payable to the Bursar. Matriculating Students are strongly advised to sign the Matriculation Register at the Examinations and Records Office, on or before Friday, May 5, 2017 with the proof of having collected academic gowns, receipts for payment of tuition fees and evidence of having returned the gowns. Failure to sign the register by the closing date would mean that the affected persons are not considered as ‘bonafide’ students of FUNAAB. Matriculation Ceremony starts by 9.30am while matriculating students are to be seated not later than 9.20am, as all entrances into the venue would be blocked, as soon as the Vice-Chancellor’s procession takes-off.
