NUC Team to Assess New Academic Programmes at FUNAAB

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to host a Resource Assessment Visit by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to evaluate newly proposed academic programmes in the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies (COLENDS).

According to a letter signed by the NUC Executive Secretary and dated September 8, 2025, the visitation would focus on the M.Sc. Programme in Agroecology and undergraduate Degree Programmes in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, and Economics.

As part of tradition, the NUC Visitation Panel would pay a Courtesy Call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room.

The Evaluation Exercise represents a significant milestone in the growth of COLENDS and underscores FUNAAB’s commitment to broadening its academic offerings, while maintaining the highest standards in higher education.
