… Pays Courtesy Visit to the VC

The Ogun State Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Chief Examiner, Dr. Rafiu Soyele has lauded the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) for its exemplary conduct of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held within the premises of the University.
Dr. Soyele, who is also the Provost, Federal College of Education (FCE), Abeokuta, stated this while on an inspection tour of examination centres within his jurisdiction.
According to him, he commended FUNAAB for its outstanding infrastructure and meticulous preparation for the examination.
He stressed the University’s commendable arrangements and its strict adherence to maintaining a controlled testing environment.
Notably, he lauded FUNAAB’s decision to restrict access to examination centres, preventing unauthorised individuals from even getting inside the campus.
Dr. Soyele urged invigilators to uphold the highest standards of integrity and vigilance, emphasising their pivotal role in preventing examination malpractices and other unethical behaviours.
As part of his tour, the Chief Examiner also extended a Courtesy Visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde acknowledging the University’s commitment to academic excellence.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor in the company of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi; Ag. Director, Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre (ICTREC), Mr. Temitope Soretire, as well as Environmental Officers led by the Asst. Chief Environmental Officer, Mr. Peter Bolanrinwa had earlier inspected the examination conduct right from the Ceremonial Gate.
