… Unveils New Professional Attire for Parks and Gardens Personnel

A renewed sense of pride, appreciation, and commitment to excellence filled the air as Omoema Agro Services officially launched its Enhanced Environmental Service Initiative, featuring the introduction of new professional attire for members of the University’s Environmental Support Team.

The initiative, unveiled at the University Nursery Garden, signifies more than a uniform upgrade. It represented a strengthened commitment to service excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement in the management of FUNAAB’s Parks, Gardens, and overall environmental maintenance operations.

The event was graced by key University officials and stakeholders. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, was represented by Mr. Moses Ayanda, Deputy Registrar, Executive Affairs, Office of the Vice-Chancellor. Other dignitaries included Dr. Emmanuel Bankole, Ag. Director, Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS); Mr. Olanrewaju Bello, Coordinator, Directorate of Environmental Management (DEM) and a host of other dignitaries.

Delivering the Vice-Chancellor’s Goodwill Message, Mr. Ayanda conveyed Management’s deep appreciation to the Environmental Support Team for their unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to maintaining the University’s serene and beautiful landscape. According to him, the Vice-Chancellor recognised the Environmental Support Team as partners in progress, vital stakeholders whose dedication and professionalism contribute significantly to the University’s reputation and daily experience.

He stated further that the initiative reflected the University’s shared pursuit of continuous improvement, excellence, and institutional pride.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Omoema Agro Services, Mr. Adeniyi Adekunle, expressed profound gratitude to the University Management for its consistent support and partnership. He emphasised that the newly introduced attire was beyond aesthetics, describing it as a symbol of renewed commitment to operational efficiency, staff motivation, and service excellence. He also appealed for sustained institutional collaboration to further strengthen ongoing achievements.

Addressing members of his team, Mr. Adekunle commended their professionalism and hard work, describing them as vital contributors to the University’s success story. He encouraged them to remain steadfast and assured them that their diligence and discipline would continue to yield positive recognition and reward.

Highpoint was the official unveiling of the new professional attire, symbolising the upgraded service commitment.

Earlier, the Coordinator of DEM, lauded the environmental workforce for their consistency and diligence, describing them as essential partners in FUNAAB’s quest for environmental excellence and sustainability.
