The University’s newly appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Professor Toyin Ayodele Arowolo (Academic) and Professor Felix Kolawole Salako (Development), have described their appointments as “act of God”.

Speaking exclusively with UNAAB Bulletin, the duo of Professor Arowolo and Professor Salako, attributed their appointments to the divine will of God.

They both affirmed that the appointments were ordained by God as all the professors in the University are qualified to be Deputy Vice-Chancellors.

They however thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun and members of the University Senate for giving them the opportunity to serve.

The DVCs assured the University community and other stakeholders that they will not betray the confidence reposed in them.

They solicited the support and cooperation of the staff and students at large, towards using their appointments to better the lots of the University.

They promised to align themselves with the vision and mission of the University under the headship of Professor Balogun, in moving the institution to greater heights.
