Motorists caught over-speeding along the University Ceremonial Road, would henceforth be booked and made to face sanctions by the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).

The UNAAB Unit, Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), gave the warning in a release issued by the Unit Coordinator, Mr. R.O Olukoya.

According to the Unit Coordinator, the appeal became imperative, owing to the noted increased cases of reckless driving and over-speeding by motorists, along the newly reconstructed Ceremonial Road, as he appealed for more caution.

Mr. Olukoya therefore implored motorists, to observe a maximum of 60km/hr speed limit on the Ceremonial Road, to forestall unpleasant traffic consequences, adding that staff, who are in the habit of over-speeding, in the bid to avoid getting late to the office, to desist from such behaviour and  imbibe the alternative habit of leaving home, early.
