Messrs Olasunkanmi Olajide and Adisa Oyewole of the University’s Directorate of Public Relations have won Gold Medals, at the just-concluded Staff Unity Games.
Playing under the Bursary Team, where they were grouped, they expressed their appreciation to the Sports’ Directorate and the Bursary Coordinating Unit, for giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills.
Mr. Olajide urged the Sports’ Directorate not to relent in its efforts at the overall development of sports in the University while he described the initiative as a welcome development, which should be supported by all.
Mr. Olajide won the Gold Medal in Chess while Mr. Oyewole bagged his, in the Tennis Championships.
