Prof. ABORISADE, David O. has a professional and academic experience of over 25 years. He is presently the Head of Department of Mechatronics Engineering.
He obtained Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng.) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering Technology from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, in 1989. He obtained Master of Engineering (M.Eng) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Ilorin in 1995 and 2006 respectively. He rose through the ladder of academic prowess to become a Professor of Control Engineering and Signal Processing in 2014. As an erudite scholar, he has a great wealth of research experience which culminated into over 43 academic publications in reputable journals, peer reviewed conference proceedings, books, technical reports etc.
Professor Aborisade has supervised more than 70 Bachelor’s Degree Projects, 20 Masters Project and 3 PhD Projects. He is a member of various professional bodies, viz Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineer (MNSE).
