Prof. Dairo Appointed as FUNAAB’s New DVC, Development

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the appointment of Prof. Olawale Dairo as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development).

According to a statement issued by the Ag. Head of the Directorate of Public Relations, Mr. Olasunkanmi Olajide, Prof. Dairo is a seasoned academic from the Department of Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering, College of Engineering (COLENG), and was until his new appointment the Dean of the College.

Mr. Olajide noted that Prof. Dairo takes over from Prof. Mufutau Atayese, who recently assumed duty as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies, Iragbiji (FUADSI), Osun State, barely two months into his tenure as FUNAAB’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development).

Prof. Dairo is expected to bring his wealth of experience, proven administrative acumen, and deep commitment to academic excellence to bear in further advancing the University’s developmental initiatives, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, innovation, and strategic growth.
