The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, has approved the appointment of Professor D. K. Ojo as the Head, Department of Plant Breeding and Seed Technology. According to a statement, signed by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Adeleke Adeboye, the appointment, which took effect from January 2, 2011 is for a period of two years. The statement further informed that the appointment was in recognition of Prof. Ojo’s capability to give academic leadership and make positive contributions to the overall development of the University. The appointee took over from Dr. I. O. Daniel. |
