A view of the Rain-water Harvesting Device
A view of the Rain-water Harvesting Device

Professor Samuel Olu Otubusin of the College of Environmental Resources Management (COLERM), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has donated a Rain-water Harvesting Device for the use of his research students.

The donated device is capable of harvesting rain-water from the roof of a building into reservoir tanks on the ground, which will in turn channel the water through pipes into fish aquaria in the Laboratory.

The students expressed their gratitude for the gesture by the professor of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, observing that it will help in combating their search for water on campus, as well as the reduction in the mortality rate of fingerlings, used for research.
