Ogun West foremost development rallying point, Yewa Tink-Tank has expressed confidence that the Vice- Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole will succeed in office.
The body gave the assurance during a courtesy call on the Management of the University on Monday.
Baring the mind of the group, President of Yewa Tink-Tank, Professor Ayo Dolapo Alabi said with his track record in the academics, Association of African Universities (AAU) and a shepherd in God’s vineyard, among others, Professor Oyewole has the wherewithal to succeed in office.
According to him, “You will succeed in office, as a matter of fact,
you must succeed in office. You are eligible for success as a man grounded in the academics, the work of God and others”.
“You will succeed in Jesus name. By the grace of God, by the time you complete your term of office, FUNAAB will record triple progress and achievement in every area”.
Professor Alabi assured Professor Oyewole and the entire Management of the support of Yewa Tink-Tank.
He stressed that YTT would not relent in its support to the students, noting that out of over forty students that it gave scholarship recently, 28 of them are FUNAABites.
Professor Alabi used the occasion to call on the Management of the University to increase the stake of the people of Yewa, notably in the
area of students admission and employment of staff.
The leadership of the Yewa Tink-Tank, who visited the Vice-Chancellor include the Dean of College of National Sciences (COLNAS), Professor Tope Popoola and the Director, Agricultural Media Resources (AMREC), Prof. (Mrs.) Carolyn Afolami.
