Prof. Sadiq. O.M. is a well travelled academia who obtained his masters of science (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering and Ph.D in Structural Engineering from the Kiev Institute of Civil Engineering(C.I.S) in the former USSR. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineer, member of the Nigerian Institution of Structural Engineering, member International Association for shell and spatial structures. He started his professional as a site engineer with KIEVGOSSTROI, Kiev, and started his academic carrier as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, at C.I.S., He joined the Ahmadu-Bello University Zaria in 1994 as lecturer 1 and later transferred to the University of Lagos where he later rose to the position of a professor in Civil Engineering. He has handled many project as a consultant, and supervised many dissertations and thesis. He has published in many reputable journals and conference proceedings.
