The College of Plant Science and Crop Production (COLPLANT), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has announced its Maiden College Lecture Series to be delivered by Prof. Francis Abayomi Showemimo of the Department of Plant Breeding and Seed Technology, and it’s scheduled to hold on February 18, 2026, as detailed in the attached poster.
According to the Dean of the College, Prof. Bolarinwa Senjobi, the maiden lecture series is designed to provide a robust intellectual platform for scholarly engagement, knowledge sharing and critical discourse on contemporary issues relevant to academia and national development.
Members of the University Community and the general public are cordially invited to attend and participate in this historic academic gathering.
