The Dean, College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), Professor Olusegun Apantaku has emerged the new Secretary of the Association of Deans of Agriculture in Nigerian Universities (ADAN).
Professor Apantaku was unanimously elected at the 56th Annual General Meeting of the Association, held at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Port-Harcourt.

A release signed by the Chairman, ADAN, Professor F. A. Fashina stated that Professor Apantaku’s appointment, which is with effect from May 24, 2012 is for a period of two years.

Other elected officers are Professor F. A. Adeshina (Ekiti State University), Chairman; Professor O. Ogbohodo (UNIBEN), Vice-Chairman; Professor E. A. Ayelarin (UI), Treasurer; and Professor W. A. Hassan (Udi-Sokoto), Assistant Secretary.

Also elected were Professor F. A. Ajayi (Nasarawa State University), Financial Secretary, Professor Love Akonye (Uniport), Publicity Secretary and Professor S. A. Raheem (Nasarawa State University), Ex-Officio.
