The University’s Assistant Director and Head, Public Relations, Mr. ‘Lasun Somoye, has charged the out-going Corps Members to proudly raise the banner and fly the flag of the University, in their endeavours.
Mr. Somoye gave the charge while speaking at a Send-Forth Party, organized by the University for the Outgoing Batch “C” 2010/2011 Corps members, held at the Conference Room of the Directorate of Public Relations.
The Head of Public Relations, while commending the Corps members for their diligence and dedication to duty while serving in the University, enjoined them to always imbibe endearing virtues, in order to sail through the stormy waters of life.
He further admonished them to jealously nurture the associations and friendship they acquired, while serving in the University, saying such will sooner or later, yield productive dividends.
Describing the Corps members as “leaders of tomorrow”, he pointed out that since UNAAB and the nation had impacted them positively, they should find a way of ploughing back into the system.
He reiterated the University Management’s commitment to youth empowerment, wealth creation and capacity development.
Gifts were later presented to the outgoing corps members, as token of appreciation of the University Management.
