Registry Dept. Holds Annual Thanksgiving Session

The Registry Department of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), today, January 13, 2026, held its annual Thanksgiving and Prayer Session to usher in the new year. The event brought together members of staff for a solemn time of worship, reflection and thanksgiving.

The programme featured praise and worship, exhortation and intercessory prayers, during which participants committed the activities of the Registry Department and the overall progress of the University into God’s hands.

Addressing staff members of the Department, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olusegun Idowu underscored the strategic role of the Registry in University administration, describing it as the “heartbeat of administration.”

In his remarks, the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, expressed profound gratitude to God for His faithfulness and commended members of staff for their dedication, resilience and commitment to duty.

The prayer session was led by Mrs. Ajoke Majiyagbe, Mr. Gafar Adewuyi, Mrs. Olasunmbo Ayoola and Mr. Samson Adeniran, who offered prayers for the University Management, staff and students, as well as for peace and prosperity in FUNAAB, Ogun State and the nation at large.
