… Palliative Works on COLENG, COLENDS Access Roads Set to Begin
By Olasunkanmi Olajide & Tofunmi Adebayo
Following the successful rehabilitation of the Access Road to the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building ahead of the 32nd Convocation Ceremony, road improvement efforts have now been extended beyond the rear curve. Plans are also in place for immediate palliative works on the roads leading to the College of Engineering (COLENG) and the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies (COLENDS), including pothole patching to enhance accessibility and ensure a smoother commuting experience for students, staff, and visitors, especially during major University events.
A visit by FUNAAB Bulletin today revealed significant progress on the ongoing project, which now covers the rear section of the expansive building.
Speaking on-site, Engr. Adebowale Abass, the project contractor, assured that the road construction adheres to global industry standards, ensuring durability and long-term usability.
The extension underscores FUNAAB’s commitment to infrastructural development, creating a more conducive academic environment for all. Stay tuned for further updates as work progresses.
