The Rotaract Club of FUNAAB on November 29, 2024, paid a Courtesy Visit to the University Management with a view of working harmoniously on carrying out joint projects that would positively affect the University.
The meeting took place at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, where the President of the Rotaract Club of FUNAAB, Rotaractor Oluwafemi Adesina, informed the University Management about the revived Rotaract Club at FUNAAB.
Rotaractor Adesina stated that the Club was resuscitated two years ago, adding that the purpose of the visit was to discuss potential projects that the Club could undertake with the University’s support. He also expressed the Club’s desire for publicity and assistance from the University.
Responding, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development, Prof. Kola Adebayo, commended the Rotaract Club for promoting good behaviour and character development among students, encouraging other students to engage in social activities and give back to society.
In addition, the Deputy Registrar II, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Mr. Moses Ayanda; a Chief Accountant in the Bursary, Rotarian Kazeem Alabi who was the immediate past President, Rotary Club of Obantoko and the current Assistant District Secretary, District 9111 covering Lagos and Ogun and other Executive Members of the Rotaract Club of FUNAAB were also present at the meeting. They discussed plans for the Club and the importance of collaboration with the University’s Student Affairs Division and the Directorate of Public Relations.
