As we gradually come to the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, I wish to felicitate with all our Muslim Brothers and Sisters, and the entire Muslim Community of our University for partaking in the spiritual fasting period and for seeing the end of the Month.
The lessons of piety, faithfulness, sacrifices, perseverance and kindness learnt during the month of Ramadan are no doubt good ingredients that we all need to build a virile and egalitarian community in our University. I beseech Allah to entrench these lessons in you all for the service of our University and the entire humanity in general.
As we prepare to celebrate the Eid-El-Fitr, I congratulate you on the completion of the one month fast. I pray Allah to preserve and protect you all, to witness more of the Holy Month of Ramadan in your lives.
