Nenadi acquired her first degree in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and later a Postgraduate Diploma from University of Jos. She was the Managing Director of DANA VENTURES and later Executive Adviser (Youths & Sports) in Kaduna State in 1992. She was also the Executive Adviser (Information, Home Affairs & Culture) in 1993. She was the Principal Personnel Officer (FCDA) from 1994 to 1998. Nenadi Usman has been a very active politician, philanthropist and public servant. She was appointed the Minister of State for Finance and later the Minister of Finance by the Obasanjo administration.
