The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Branch, is set to honour its retired members with a special send-forth ceremony.

According to the Chairman, SSANU-FUNAAB, Comrade Olurotimi Fasunwon, the event would recognise the dedicated service and contributions of members who retired between 2021 and 2025.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the SSANU Hall by 10 a.m. Dignitaries, including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, and other Principal Officers of the University, are expected to grace the occasion.

Comrade Fasunwon encouraged all members to participate in celebrating the retirees’ commitment to the University.

The event would also feature a special New Year prayer for the union and its members, as well as a distinguished recognition of the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Felix Kolawole Salako, and his Management Team.
