University of Naples (UNINA) has a proven record of research activities in tomato and tomato wilt. UNAAB is collaborating with UNINA and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in a DfID-funded project aimed solving tomato wilt in West-African sub-region, as well as training scientists in the region on how to apply modern biotechnology tools to solve similar problems in their countries.
