ADEBAYO Adenrele Olalekan

Short Profile

Born March 9, 1970 into the Luwaji and Sogaolu’s family, Adenrele Olalekan Adebayo, hailed from the Itoku district of Abeokuta South Local government area of Ogun State, Nigeria. He had his Primary Education at Baptist Primary School, Kano from 1976-1981 from where he proceeded to Ansar-ud-deen High School, Offa, Kwara State from 1981-1986 for his Secondary education. He had his DVM from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1995 and bagged his Masters and PhD at University of Ibadan in 2009 and 2015 respectively. He enter into the service of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2006 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy, College of Veterinary Medicine and has risen through the ranks to become a Professor of Veterinary Anatomy with specialty in Veterinary Morphology and Morphometry, Histology and Reproductive Biology. He is a recipient of various National and International grants and Fellowship award. He has equally served as Acting Head and Post-graduate co-ordinator of the Department and in different capacities in the College and University at large. At his place residence, he participates effectively in neighborhood and community development.

Adenrele Adebayo is married and the union is blessed with a son.
