Short Profile

Dr. Adedayo Oluseun ADEDEJI joined the service of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2017. Prior this time, He has a B.Sc. (Ed) in 2003, M.Sc. in 2010 and PhD in 2014 in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He started his academic career in 2011 at Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State as Assistant Lecturer and rose to the position of lecturer I in 2015. Currently, Dr. Adedeji is a Senior Lecturer and the Acting Head of the Department of Economics, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. He is a member of the African Growth and Development Policy Modelling Consortium (AGRODEP); An International Modelling Consortium, facilitated by IFPRI, Dakar, Senegal) and the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) Ibadan, Nigeria. With his over 12 years of fulltime academic work experience, he has publications in both local and international Journals and also contributed to books. He has taught several courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Adedeji has mentored students in Master degree programme and several undergraduate students. He specializes in Human Capital, Finance and Development Economics. He is interested in Health and Labour Economics, Trade Policy, Development Economics, Financial Economics, Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics
