Engr. Professor Ademola Ezra ADELEKE had his primary education between 1976 and 1982 at Baptist Primary School Ago-Amodu, while his secondary education was at Adu Grammar school, Ago Amodu, Saki East Local Government Head quarter, Oyo State, between 1982 and 1983. He also attended Community Grammar School Idi Emi Sepeteri between 1983 and 1987. He proceeded to Federal polytechnic Bauchi, Bauchi state in 1991 where he obtained a National Diploma Certificate in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. He then proceeded to the University of Ibadan in 1995 where he obtained a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering in June 2000; M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Agriculture Abeokuta in September, 2012. His research interests are in areas of Thermodynamics of Materials, Renewable energy with major focus on biofuel. He has published a number of articles in reputable national and offshore journals.
Prof. Adeleke won the following awards: Prince Badru’s Scholarship award as best Mathematics student, Community High School, Sepeteri- 1986/1987 Session; Best National Diploma (ND) Graduand in Mechanical Engineering 1992/93 Session, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria; Best Student in Research Project, Mechanical Engineering Dept., 1992/93 Session, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria 1992/93 Session. He is a member of notable professional organizations including Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
He was promoted to the post of a Reader in 2018 and Professor in October 2021 in Federal University of Oye Ekiti and later transferred his service to Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta in the year 2023.
Professor Adeleke held many administrative positions and served on several Committees of the Osun State University and Federal University Oye Ekiti. These include; Coordinator, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Osun State University Osogbo, July 2013 - May, 2015; Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering Federal University Oye Ekiti.
