ADENEKAN, Fauziyah Nihinlolawa (Mrs) has been a distinguished Librarian at ’Nimbe Adedipe Library, Federal University of Agriculture since 2017 to this moment.

She had a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye in 2008, obtained Post Graduate in Diploma Education(PGDE) at Institute of Data Processing Management of Nigeria (IDPM) in 2008 . She obtained a Master Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Ibadan in 2014.

She became a Certified Librarian with the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) in 2016. She also has certification in Master E-Book creator from Amazon Books Online in 2021.

In 2020, she joined the league of Computer Scientist in Nigeria by being inducted at the Computer Society Induction and International Conference on Emerging Technology for Industry Online.

She is a member of several professional bodies such as Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Ogun State Chapter, Association of Women Librarians of Nigerian (AWLIN), Ogun State Chapter, Nigerian Women in Agricultural Research for Development (NiWARD), Association Information Science and Technology (asist&t) Africa Chapter, Nigerian Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Wikipedia Nigeria User Group, Lagos Studies Association (LSA) and Statistics society Nigeria Local Group.

She began her career in Librarianship at ’Nimbe Adedipe Library, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as  Assistant System Librarian   in the Automation Department  between Nov 2017  to April 9, 2018. She also worked in E-Library section between April 9, 2018 to June 2019 and later moved to Cataloguing Department in August 2019 till date.  Since her assumption of duty she has been assigned to teach undergraduate students GNS 203, the use of Library. She is the secretary of Academic Librarians FUNAAB chapter.

Her research interest areas are not limited to the following: ICT in library and information science, information user study, sustainable developmental goals, gender and cultural diversity. She is fast growing in recent trends in Librarianship. She has numbers of publications in reputable journals to her credit.

She was awarded Certificate of Appreciation by Nigerian Library Association (NLA) Ogun State Chapter for demonstration of teamwork and commitment towards the successful hosting of the first-ever 2021 NLA Evidence-Based Virtual Workshop, Theme: Remote information Services Delivery during and Post-Covid, held Online in April 28-29th 2021.She was awarded Certificate of Appreciation by the the International
Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)  in the 88th IFLA World
Library and Information Congress 21-25 August 2023, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
