Agboola Olakunle Justin obtained his first degree in applied arts , specializing in textile and interior design (B.A applied arts , University of Benin ) in Edo State 1992.
He obtained his master's degree in textile and clothing from Federal university of Agric in Abeokuta by 2009 .
He Joined the service of the University in March 1995 as academic technologist 2 in the textile, clothing and Interior unit of home science and management department and has risen through the rank to the position of Chief Laboratory Scientist in October 1, 2014.
Mr Agboola has been overseeing the maintenance and safety of equipments and materials in the textile and clothing laboratory in the Home science and management department. He coordinates and instructs students in textile practical and Interior decoration classes. He has served in various university comittes such as internally revenue generation commute between 2022-2023, he was also the sub-coordinator in Diploma Programmes (textile clothing & Designs) CEHURD Funaab between 2003 - 2006 and also the comittee of centre for Entrepreneurship studies in 2010 and also a member of the University technical committee on cotton production for south Western Nigeria since 2013.
He serves the community through his selfless counseling services and seminars to students on career and vocational and entrepreneurial skills. He is also a member of Ogun state drug committee.
He represented Ogun state and led the delegates to the national festival of art and culture in 2010 in Akwa-ibom and won the best indigenous export quality product package for Ogun state.
He served as a member of Governing board of Adire and African Fabric Centre of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential library organization , Abeokuta between 2011-2017
Mr Agboola also is a recipient of the Ogun state most outstanding technical instructor on indigenous Technology (textile) awards in 2015 by the Excellence Media Group of NUJ, Southwest Nigeria
