Dr Akinleye, S. A. is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics. He was born in Oke Odan, Ogun State on 23rd November 1962 and is happily married with four children. He had his Primary School education at the St Judes School, Mushin, Lagos and his Secondary School education at Aiyepe High School, Aiyepe.
He holds a BSc Degree in Mathematics from the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri and an MSc Degree in Mathematics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan and a Ph D Mathematics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
His Area of Specialisation is in Algebra with particular interest in Non- Associativity and Neutrosophics. He has 20 publications/ articles in both national and international journals. In 2016, he was given an Award of Distinguished Achievements in Neutrosophics by the Neutrosophics Science Association, U.S. A. He is a Reviewer for Iranian Journal of Fuzzy Systems.
Dr Akinleye was a former Acting Head of Mathematics Department and also a former Co-ordinator/ Head of Foundation Science Programme at INHURD. He has supervised more than 100 undergraduate projects, and also supervised or co- supervised Postgraduate Thesis /Dissertations at the MICT, MSc and Ph D levels.
