BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Akinola is currently the staff of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Nigeria under the Directorate of Information Communication and Technology Department. After a successful completion of Primary and Secondary education in Ilesa. Osun State. Nigeria. He gained admission into Department of Mathematical Science (Computer Option), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where he graduated in 1998 with Second Class Division. He enrolled for M.Sc. degree programme in Computer Science in the same institution and he was awarded a degree in 2010. Akinola has worked in several organizations and institutions which includes Ikeja Medical Centre, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (now  Lagos State University of Education (LASUED)) , Federal University of Technology, Akure, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta among others. As a Music Minister, he obtained Grade 1 – 4 Certificate in Theory of Music from Associated Board of Royal School of Music, London

Duties: Provides and support computer information systems to the College & University community. Involves in Software support through processing analysis, configuration, problem resolution, and reporting.
Troubleshoot System technical issues. Assist Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent. Involve in Virtual Learning Training within and outside the College. Liaising with other IT staff such as programmers to produce new systems. Liaising with other IT staff such as Network Engineer to implement new project. Responsible for Staff and Students training and feedback. repair faulty ICT equipments, maintain network switches, regular backup of Data, Troubleshooting of network problems and proffer immediate solution

Duties: Overseeing the computerization of University Bursary / College affair operations in order to enhance smooth running of all University Financial activities. Maintenance of Servers and workstations, repair faulty ICT, equipments, maintain network switches, regular backup of Data, Troubleshooting of network problems and proffer immediate solution

Duties: Provides strategic direction, leadership and Governance of all aspects of ICTs and ensure effective delivery of University Strategic plans and objectives within the period. Make the necessary recommendations to suit University needs and develop ICTs strategies and activities to support the system. Recommend ICTs solutions and ensure that all ICTs initiatives that are developed fully support the goals and objectives of the University. Look for new ICT technologies that offer same systems and performance levels at a cheaper rate so as to reduce costs for the University. I push for IT to improve efficiency, improve productivity and service through ICT. Organize various Training, build ICT capacity and change the University Website (this enable the Institution to appear on the Webometric Raking for the first time i.e. 2017-2018).
