Dr. (Mrs.) Akinyemi Bolanle Temitope is a Lecturer in the Department of Pasture and Range Management (PRM), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB). She graduated from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria in 2007 in the Department of Pasture and Range Management with a First Class Honours Degree and bagged her Master of Agriculture in Pasture and Range Management in 2011. She is a Forage Scientist with strong affinity for Pasture Conservation and Utilization.

Over the years in FUNAAB, she has been carrying out research activities, supervising and training undergraduate students. She has won so many outstanding and distinguished prizes, honours and scholarships amongst which are the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), a Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Gender and Diversity Program as a Fellow in the year 2010 and Federal Government Scholarship for Nigerian Tertiary Institutions during her Postgraduate studies.

Her research interest include evaluation of Pearl millet genotypes for forage production, nutritive evaluation of plants with forage potential, and provision of conserved feed for ruminant animals. She has 24 Publications (both international and local) including conference proceedings. She has undertaken trainings in Molecular Biology and molecular techniques in the study of bacteria associated with crops and write shops on proposal writing in Nigeria.

Dr. (Mrs). Akinyemi is a Professional member, American Society of Animal Science (ASAS), Society for Grassland Research and Development in Nigeria (SOGREDEN) Nigerian Society for Animal Production and a Registered Animal Scientist (RAS/01410).

She is a lover of meeting people and very adventurous and have a high sense of responsibility.
