Dr. (Mrs.) Apantaku, Fadeke Sola is a Senior Lecture in the Department of Statistics, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). She teaches courses in Statistics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her teaching career has spanned over thirty (30) years. She served as the acting Head of the Department of Statistics from February, 2015 to January, 2017.

Dr. Apantaku has published twenty-five (25) journal articles in Sample Survey and Inference and applications. Her research work involves application of statistical tools in solving problems in Agriculture, Environment, Education and Demography. She has collaborated with other researchers in the area of Stochastic Processes, Experimental Design, Distribution Theory and Data Modelling. She has supervised many undergraduate projects and postgraduate thesis.

Dr. Apantaku  is a member of  Academic Associations amongst  which is the Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA) and International Biometric Society (IBS), Nigerian Group
