Short Profile

Mrs Ayodeji Omolola obtained her Bachelor of Agric (B.Agric) in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2010 after which she proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan for her Masters degree in Agricultural Economics in 2014. She is currently on her PhD programme at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta since 2021 till date. She started her career at the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) from 2017-2021 and has being involved in a lot of research activities within the institute. She collaborated with other programmes within the institute such as: Food and Nutrition Research Programme, Livestock Production Research Programme and Crop Production Research Programme. With her collaboration with the Crop Production Research Programme, she published a journal on the “Profitability of Dry Season Farming of Jute Mallow and Amaranth Inter and Sole Cropping Systems in Abeokuta. Nigeria”.  Her love for research further propelled her to covert to academics as an Assistant Research Fellow in the Centre of Agricultural Development and Environmental Sustainability (CEADESE) in 2021. Her area of interests include: Food and Consumer Economics and Production Economics. She currently supervises undergraduate students and has publications both in local and international journals. She is also a member of Professional bodies such as Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE) and Agricultural Society of Nigeria
