Short Profile

Dr. Akeem Ayobami Ayoola was born in Oyo East local Government in Oyo town, Oyo state into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Lateef Omoniyi Ayoola on the 24th of October, 1984. He is the first child of the family of four boys. He started his primary education at L. A. Town School II, Idi Ope, Oyo from where he proceeded to Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo for secondary education between 1995 and 2001. He gained admission in to the Department of Animal Production and Health, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2004. He graduated with a first class and also as the best graduating student in the department for the session (2008/2009) in 2010.

He had his National Youth Service at the Department of Animal Science, Federal University of Technology, Owerri in 2010 to 2011 and joined the services of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as a Junior Research Fellow in September 15, 2011 and since then risen to the post of Lecturer II in 2017.

He bagged Masters and PhD degree in Non Ruminant Production in the same Department in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He has taught several courses in the department and supervised over twenty (20) undergraduate students and currently co-supervising postgraduate students. He has numerous journals published in reputable Journals and 7 conference proceedings.

Departmental responsibilities include Undergraduate seminar coordinator, Assistant Postgraduate Coordinator and Departmental welfare officer and 100 level course adviser. He is also a member of College of Animal Science and Livestock Production board and a member of the environmental and Sport committee constituted by the board.

He is currently the secretary of Oloyinde Mosque, Kajola Aregbe, Obantoko and the Chairman Management board of the Al-Muzdalifah Educational Trust School, Behind Pepsi Depot, Somorin, Abeokuta.

He is happily married with a kid.
