Short Profile

Dr. (Mrs.) Tolulope Olaseeni Bamigboye joined the prestigious Institution on 1 st June,
2023 as a Lecturer of the Department of Pure and Applied Botany, College of
Biosciences, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Abeokuta, Nigeria.
She obtained her 1 st degree in Botany from the University of Ado Ekiti (Now Ekiti
State University) in the year 2007 and her M.Sc and Ph.D in Plant Resources
Management from Ekiti State University in the years 2013 and 2017 respectively.
She is a member of the Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON) and also a board
member of the College of Biosciences in FUNAAB.
Dr. (Mrs.) T. O Bamigboye began her academic career at the Federal College of
Forestry, Jericho Ibadan as an Assistant Lecturer in 2011 where she lectured for 12
years and rose to the level of Lecturer 1 before she transferred her service to Federal
University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2023.
She has her specialization in the area of Plant Ecology with her research activities on
Plant Resources management cutting across several fields of Botany like Ecology,
Ethnobotany and Plant Physiology. She is rapidly growing in these areas which have
really helped with domestication of some wildlings especially endangered species.
