Dr. Brahim Djeneba Diawara is a Computer Engineering and Information Systems academic with a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Information Systems and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She also holds a National Diploma in Computer Engineering from Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, and is a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Registration No. R.77,808.
Dr. Diawara has held several academic positions, including Lecturer I and Lecturer II at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and Lecturer II, Assistant Lecturer, and Head of Department at Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu. Her academic responsibilities have included teaching, research, community service, departmental administration, examination coordination, student supervision, and academic advising.
Her research and professional interests span information systems, machine translation, artificial intelligence applications, embedded systems, automation, and computer engineering. She has contributed to projects involving the design and development of practical technology solutions, including an online results processing system, an intruder detection and image capturing system, a real-time alcohol detection system using the ATMEGA328P microcontroller, an energy-saving system using a timer, a two-way office control automation device, and an Arduino-based automated door system.
Her current research and development interests also include the design and implementation of intelligent and automated engineering systems. A current project documented in her curriculum vitae is the design and implementation of an automated plant grafting machine, reflecting her interest in applying computer engineering, embedded systems, and automation technologies to solve practical problems.
Overall, Dr. Diawara combines academic training in Computer Engineering and Information Systems with practical experience in teaching, research, administration, and technology development. Her multidisciplinary background positions her to contribute effectively to research, innovation, engineering education, and the development of technology-driven solutions to societal and industrial challenges.
