Mrs. Oluwatoyin Morufat Dawodu, the Acting Registrar of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta was born on October 28, 1963 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

A product of St. Teresa’s College, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, attended the University of Ibadan, Ibadan between 1983 and 1986 where she studied Psychology. After her National Youth Service at the School of Preliminary Studies, Keffi, Plateau state (now Nassarawa State), she returned to the University of Ibadan and graduated with an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology in 1988.

Mrs. Dawodu joined the services of University of Agriculture in 1990 as an Administrative Officer II and was saddled with the duties of Protocol in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. She rose through the ranks to the position of a Deputy Registrar in 2009 and, later in 2020 was appointed Deputy Registrar I in recognition of her selfless and devoted service.

She has over thirty-three (33) years post-graduation working experience in University Administration, of which fourteen (14) years have been spent as Deputy Registrar in various arms of the University Registry as Head of Unit; College Administration; Vice-Chancellor’s Office and presently, Head of Unit, Academic Staff Establishment. She has served as Secretary to several Committees and Panels; as well as being member of many notable Committees and Panels. She has contributed in no small measure to the growth and development of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, as she has imparted useful knowledge into, and mentored staff under her supervision. She has also had the opportunity of a Sabbatical appointment at the Crescent University, Abeokuta.

Mrs. Dawodu is a member of London Academy for Higher Education (LAHE) Knowledge Exchange Club; Association of University Administrators (AUA); the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA); Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM); Affiliate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) and Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration (FCAI). She also served as the Chairman, ANUPA, FUNAAB Chapter between 2015 and 2019.

Mrs. Dawodu is a disciplinarian, very assertive and transparently honest but full of compassion. She is a personality who pursues whatever she believes in with great passion and energy. You cannot but just like her around you.

For leisure, she loves listening to music and singing, she enjoys posing for photographs and derives pleasure in house-keeping. She is happily married and blessed with adorable children.
