Short Profile

Professor ERUOLA Abayomi is a Professor of Agro-hydrology in the Department of Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology, College of Environmental Resources Management (COLERM). Prof. Eruola was born in June 1967, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Meteorology and Water Management, a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management, and a Doctoral degree in Agricultural Meteorology from the same department.  He joined the active service of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in 2005 as an Assistant Lecturer, where he rose through the rank to become a professor in 2021. Based on his broad expertise in the field of hydrology (Water Management) and Agrometeorology, Prof. Eruola has maintained multidisciplinary research in his research engagement, with the sole aim of improving knowledge in the scope of Agrohydrology. He is currently the Head of the Department, since 2020. His research expertise and interest cut across irrigation, agricultural water management, morphometry (drainage and sediment transport) and climate related research.
