IDOWU, Adekunle Adedoyin 

Short Profile

Professor IDOWU Adekunle Adedoyin is currently a Professor of Fisheries Management and Ecotoxicology in the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, College of Environmental Resources Management, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria.

Prof. Idowu has a B.Sc Zoology from the University of Lagos, M.Sc Fisheries Management, and PhD in Fisheries Management from University of Ibadan. He has been in Fisheries extension for sixteen years where he has rendered technical advice on fish farm management before joining the services of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta

His research areas are focused in all aspect of Fisheries management and Ecotoxicology with the aim of evolving improved policy.

He was the immediate past Acting Head of Department, a member of Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON), member of Society of Toxicolory, USA.
