Isah Olubukola is an accomplished Professor, Lecturer and Researcher at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria. She is involved in teaching, research and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students at the College of Animal Science and Livestock Production of the university where she works. She had her B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees in animal agriculture at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Olubukola has been a university lecturer with 28 years’ experience. She has supervised more than 100 undergraduate, 2 postgraduate diploma, 29 Masters and 10 PhD students, published 73 articles in local and international journals and refereed conference proceedings. She is a fellow of African Women in Agricultural Research and development (AWARD) Nairobi Kenya, a Registered Animal Scientist (RAS) with Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS), a member of Nigeria Society of Animal Production (NSAP) and Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN). She has attended many local and international conferences to present her research findings. Olubukola has won 6 internal, highly competitive grants in her university either as Lead or Co -researcher. Her passion for the improvement of rural livelihood of local farmers led to her participation in extension programs of her university that offer free advisory services on better farm practices to small ruminant farmers at the local communities in the catchment area of the university. Her hobbies include backyard vegetable gardening, poultry, fisheries and rabbit farming.
