ISHOLA, Adedayo Michael is a Chief Laboratory Technologist in the Department of Physics, College of Physical Sciences, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). He has professional experience spanning laboratory technology, Physics with Electronics, laboratory instrumentation, equipment maintenance and technical support for teaching and research activities. He is currently concluding his Msc in Physics with Electronics at Lead City University , Ibadan but holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Electronics from Southwestern University, Nigeria, a Final Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (Physics with Electronics) from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and an Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Ogun State Polytechnic. His professional development includes training and workshops in data processing, computer hardware and software networking, e-document handling and data analysis, internet and modern learning technologies, digital technologies, science equipment maintenance and management, laboratory safeguard practices, laboratory ethics and biosafety. His career at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has progressed through several technical positions, including Laboratory Assistant, Technologist II & I, Senior Science Laboratory Technologist, Principal Science Laboratory Technologist, Assistant Chief Technologist and Chief Laboratory Technologist. His professional responsibilities encompass laboratory preparation and management, equipment inventory and maintenance, practical-class support, technical assistance to students and researchers, supervision of laboratory personnel, and technical advisory services relating to laboratory equipment procurement. His technical interests include Physics with Electronics, laboratory instrumentation and equipment management, electrical and electronic systems, renewable-energy applications, and maintenance and repair of scientific equipment. His documented technical projects include an audio-frequency amplifier and distribution system, an intruder alarm system, and a 1 KVA solar power inverter system for laboratory use. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technologists (NISLT) and has participated in university, professional and community-service activities.
