Mr. James O. Abraham is an Assistant Lecturer (AL) and an Environmental health
professional with strong background in Environmental Health Technology and Wastewater
Treatment and Bio-economy. He joined the service of the University on 26 th August, 2019 as
a Graduate Assistant, in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, and
upgraded to AL after obtaining his Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree in Civil and
Environmental Engineering at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Sao Paulo State University –
UNESP), Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is a fellow of Agricultural Research and Innovative Forum
for Africa (ARIFA), and a recipient of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and Forum
for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) scholarship, through which he obtained his M.
Sc. Abraham has coauthored articles in local and international journals of repute. His line of
research is centered around Water and Wastewater Treatment, Sanitation Technology,
Pollution Level Monitoring and Air quality monitoring.
