Short Profile

Engr. Fidelis C. Nkeshita obtained an ND in Civil Engineering from the National Water Resources Institute, Mando, Kaduna in 1997. He proceeded to obtain a B.Eng in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2004 and an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently a Ph.D. student with the Department of Civil Engineering, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria (FUNAAB) with an area of specialization in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.

He started his career as a field engineer with Pacific Consultants in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state from 2007 – 2010 and later worked as a Laboratory Technologist in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology in FUNAAB from 2010 – 2012 and also as a Laboratory Scientist with the Department of Civil Engineering still in  FUNAAB from 2012-2017. In 2017, he was appointed as an Academic staff with the Department of Civil Engineering (FUNAAB) in  2017.

Engr. Nkeshita is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

He is currently researching the application of predictive models to optimize the performance of bioelectrochemical systems and renewable energy generation. He has publications in both local and international journals and has attended academic conferences
