Engr. Dickinson. C. Odikayor is a Lecturer II in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria. He obtained is B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Benin, and his M. Eng in Electronics and Telecommunications from the same university and currently doing his Phd research in Electronics and Control at FUNAAB.
His research interests include intelligent transportation systems, machine learning application in traffic management, renewable energy optimization, demand side management. Engr. Odikayor has over 15 years of professional work experience which started early in the IT industry, then Consumer Electronic Appliance industry, after which the automobile industry and currently in the Academics. He has spent over 8 years in teaching and research in the University environment and has supervised numerous undergraduate projects.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He has published several articles in reputable international journals and conferences. His current research focuses on the development of intelligent traffic control system for urban intersection in Nigeria.
